What bracelets look best on men, and how do you style them?

Hey you aspiring bracelet stacker and soon-to-be layering aficionado,

What scares you most in life?

Me first? Fair.

I picked up a new ritual this month - journaling. I’ve been starting my days with three pages of freehand writing, recording all thoughts that roam around my mind (my thoughts are like a flock of bees buzzing around 24/7 trying to collect nectar and pollen. sometimes they sting if neglected and overworked). It’s been an interesting process of self-discovery that often leads me to explore what scares me most in life as a creative.

My work requires the constant sharing of my creations with the unknown world and my biggest fear associated with that is the fear of judgment. Failure coming close second. Putting something out there that’s not good enough or something that’s good enough but requires a new skill that I’m still not confident enough I’ve mastered. And how you, my customer, would perceive my new creation.

For years, I’ve been launching new products in batches. They don’t follow a particular rhythm as in a new line every season or new product every month. One morning I open my eyes with a nudge. Launching new products has always been a similar process as the one I use for journaling - but instead of freehand writing, I call it freehand creating.

I have an idea, I gather my materials, and I start making. No sketching required. I mix and match - beads, fabric, leather. Until they start making sense and form patterns and sequences that make me excited. One piece leads to the next. One finished product shines a light onto the next.

How does all this tie together and relate to you? Let me explain…

I just launched the new beaded bracelets line. And your enthusiasm and support blew me away. It’s the first time in the history of Clark & Taft that I launch a new line that captures your attention and imagination instantaneously.

As a designer and solo entrepreneur, your feedback and enthusiasm are what drive me to create pieces that resonate with you. Every product, every design, is crafted with you in mind.

And you keep on asking one question that I absolutely love because it leads to more creative sessions: “What bracelets look best on men, and how do you style them?”

So I got back to work, put my fear away, came up with some some inspiration on how to stack and style my beaded and leather bracelets together for a more polished and sophisticated look.

The Art of Stacking: Beaded and Leather Bracelets

Whether you prefer the natural, grounding feel of beaded bracelets or the rugged elegance of leather, combining the two can create a balanced and versatile look.

The Classic Duo: Simple Braided Leather and Black Onyx Beads

The contrast between the textured leather and the sleek beads adds depth and interest to your wrist. This duo is perfect for the man who appreciates understated sophistication.

The Bold Stack: Wrap Leather Bracelet and Black Onyx

For those who love to make a statement, why not layer a wrap leather bracelet with a beaded bracelet? This combination is not only visually striking but also incredibly versatile, transitioning seamlessly from day to night by removing one or the other.

The Mixed Metal Approach: Subtle Sterling Silver and Stylish 14k Gold

If you’re someone who prefers a more visually uniformed look, two beaded bracelets that feature similar stone sizes but different metals might be just the right fit. The visual interest is on the texture and the metal sheen, keeping things stylish and balanced.

Why Stacking Bracelets Works

The beauty of stacking bracelets lies in the personal expression it allows. It’s not about following strict rules but about experimenting with different textures, colors, and materials to find a combination that feels right for you

P.S. If you haven’t yet explored the new beaded bracelets, I invite you to take a look and see how they might complement your existing collection. And if you’re already a fan, I hope these styling tips inspire you to try something new. For more inspiration, visit the Clark & Taft blog.
